Rewind: Aniston Bashes 'Friends' Reunion
By ROBERT PACE
August 07, 2012
In its ten-year run, the popular sitcom Friends became one of most beloved television shows, and still remains as such over eight years after the series came to a halt. Although the fans and the cast were sad to have the show end, the prospect of a reunion has been dim from even before the series ended, as we see in this Pop Culture Rewind.
After working for ten years on the show that launched her career, Jennifer Aniston's emotions were swelling as she began to discuss the conclusion of Friends at the premiere of her 2002 film The Good Girl, in which she starred with a young Jake Gyllenhaal.

"I think about it and it gets me all weepy, especially knowing that this will be the last time we go back to 'school," Aniston says in the featured flashback. "It's our senior year."
While she was struggling to accept the show's final series, Aniston wards off the suggestion of a reunion, even if it were thirty years down the road.
"Oh, God no!" Aniston responds when asked about a potential reunion. "Anything but that. If you see us doing that movie, there will something really wrong."

Aniston also talks about how her then-husband Brad Pitt reacts to her on-screen romance with Gyllenhaal in the film.
"He knows it's all actin'," she says. "He's my best supporter."
