A 'Secret' Star Weighs Two TV Options
They say it's all about who you know in Hollywood, something native Australian Phoebe Tonkin is learning first hand.
Fresh off The Secret Circle's cancellation, the best thing about that show (along with Chris Zylka's v-necks) is facing two possible next steps thanks to TSC producer Kevin Williamson.

"I love Phoebe," Kevin told IGN while discussing the demise of Secret Circle. "I want her on Vampire Diaries. Or bring her on The Following. I have a feeling that girl will star in her own show before we get around to casting her. She's awesome."

First of all, I couldn't agree more -- Phoebe quickly stood out from the crowd in Secret's pilot and only continued to rise above the murky material as the first season plodded along. Ferociously sexy and sensationally snarky with a pair of hypnotic eyes, Kevin would be wise to snap up this rising star. But, despite my love for The Vampire Diaries, I'm actually hoping she heads to The Following.
Let's face it, TVD is constantly struggling to service the exponentially increasing townsfolk of Mystic Falls and bringing in a new character that would play to Phoebe's strengths would ironically step on the toes of her real life BFF Claire Holt, who plays the deliciously duplicitous Rebekah.

Plus, TVD fans already know who Phoebe is -- if Kevin's truly invested in breaking this bright star, he should use his sure-to-be buzzy Fox serial killer thriller to introduce this tremendous talent to a totally different demographic. Plus, you know Secret Circle fans would follow Phoebe to any new show.
