But for the first time (although certainly not the last, since pop songs that are capable of conveying a character's innermost thoughts and feelings are oh-so-rare) McKinley's students tackled a track that had already been performed weeks earlier on Smash.

In order to make Coach Beiste feel better about being a battered wife, Santana, Tina, Brittany and Sugar sang a stripped down version of Florence + The Machine's Shake It Out on last night's episode.
