Rewind: Jack Black Gets Bedazzled with Diamond

Jack Black has always been known for his humorous ways, which incorporates into his music with his band Tenacious D.
This Pop Culture Rewind takes you back to 2000 for a behind-the-scenes look at Saving Silverman, a film in which Black was able to mix his two professional worlds of acting and music when he took the stage with Neil Diamond in the film.

"You know, I have an unfair advantage 'cause I am a rock star on the side but my first love is acting," Black says in the featured flashback. "I was jammin' earlier with Neil [Diamond] and there's something that we share: we understand what it is to rock."
After declaring his affection for Diamond, who he calls a "legend," Black gives a snippet of his rendition of Diamond's "America."
