TheInsider.com caught up with dad-of-four Dean McDermott at Giada's Festa Italiana during the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival at L.A. Live. The reality star dished about wife Tori Spelling’s pregnancy and his brand-new venture that combines his love of food and kids -- a website called TheGourmetDad.

In the interview, Dean confirmed that Tori is doing well and there is only a little bit of time left before their fourth baby together is here. "She is doing great. [Her belly] has really popped. We are about six weeks away." As for the sex of Baby McDermott, Dean is keeping mum, "We didn’t find out with Hattie and we aren’t going to find out with this one either!"

While at the food fest, Dean explained what brought him to his new foodie/father endeavor, "Being a dad of soon-to-be five, I am bit of an expert on feeding kids. I got tired of making six different things at dinner … okay enough, I am doing to teach dads, moms and first time cooks to make a gourmet dish with a few omissions and few tips and trips to make a kid-friendly meal. You use one product and have two different outcomes. It’s cost effective and time effective."

Dean also gave some parent tips on how to get your kids to eat better: being imaginative and blending healthy foods like cauliflower or broccoli into foods they enjoy (like hamburgers) is a great way to get kids to eat things they wouldn’t normally. “You are only limited to your imagination. Have fun with the food,” said Dean.
